Match Report
Radley College 1st XI vs  Eton College
On: Saturday, 29 Feb 2020
Venue: Away

The second leg of this fixture was always going to be keenly contested. As with the first Radley started the brighter, chance being created through the midfield for Archie Ward and Ethan Berlusconi. Eton found their way into the gamer after 10 minutes and it was an even contest until Radley won their second short corner and Phil Barnett once again stepped up to convert the drag flick. Soon after Will way won another corner and this time Harry Markham found the same spot as Barnett to make it 0-2 at half time.

Eton came out hard in the second half pressing from the first whistle determined to score next. Good defensive work from Radley held them at bay with George Hall replacing the injured Thomas Reed, having an excellent spell. However the pressure told and Eton won their 4th corner of the match. This time the skipper made no mistake with a crisp backhand shot into the bottom corner, 1-2. Radley struggled to keep possession and Eton kept up the pressure winning another corner which they duly scored. 2-2.

A frantic last 5 minutes saw both sides win a corner each but both defences held firm and the game finished 2-2.
