Match Report
Radley College Boys-U16A vs  St Paul's School
On: Saturday, 28 Sep 2019
Venue: Away

Radley started the match strongly, running the ball effectively out of their own half and gaining good territory with the first of a number of impressive line breaks from Harry Silman. Unfortunately, a little impatience and inaccuracies in the final third meant early pressure was not converted into points. A Benji Tucker penalty was the only reward from several created opportunities. St.Pauls fought back strongly with a perfectly executed cross field kick for the winger to score in the corner. Pleasingly, Radley responded before half-time with some intricate forward play from close quarters, to go in 10-5 up at the break. After another deserved St.Paul’s try, the match was very much in the balance. However, as the game wore on, Radley’s physicality and improved execution made the difference with two further tries from Perez-Quane and Davies to seal the 23-15 win. There are still plenty of improvements to be made but exciting times ahead for this side when all aspects of our game click into place.
