Match Report
Radley College Boys-U14A vs  St Paul's School
On: Saturday, 02 Oct 2021
Venue: at Home

The weather was atrocious, Radley's performance was not. In such adverse conditions you may have expected the team to have played a very one dimensional style of rugby, yet the side accepted the challenge of sticking to their philosophy by playing positive expansive rugby throughout. Some of the play, against the wind, in the fist half was exceptional. The breakdown was controlled, the speed of ball good and the passing accuracy neat. First half tries came from the elusive Parker, the determined Hughes, the powerful Eze and the thoughtfulness of skipper Williams. Despite their enterprise, Radley pressurised St Paul's into mistakes and capitalized on those advantages. The squad will need to work on defensive spacing and breakdown decision making over the next week before travelling to Tonbridge for what is always a tightly contested fixture.
