The Midgets 4 team confidently took to the field for their first appearance in the Radley white and red at Sherborne, after what had been a very slow jounrney down the A303. Clearly the Radley men were itching for run with the ball in hand, as Bignell crossed the try line in the opening minutes. As play continued it was clear that Midgets 4 were up for a physical affair, opting to play a direct, penetrating, brand of rugby which suited the greasy conditions. 11 tries were scored with Bignell, Guest, Prentice, Davenport, Fearney, Law, Maggs, McCowen and Harmsworth opening their accounts for Radley. Armstrong kicked superbly, with 5 of his 7 attempts clearing the posts. A good run out for these boys, we look forward to Bedford on Thursday.
