Another away trip and another bright start by Radley Colts 1, going 5-0 up early on after some good build up play down the right wing, Will Brooks the scorer. The match soon evolved into a very even contest, with both sides looking more dangerous in attack rather than in defence. St. Paul’s scored next after some sustained pressure but also missed the conversion. The score remained 5-5 at half-time. In the second half, both sides exchanged penalty kicks to make it 8-8 in the end. A fair result, although a frustrating one, given the time spent in the opponents 22 towards the end of the match and a few tries left out there. Another improved performance nonetheless and a step in the right direction.
