A very gutsy performance away at Eton in some greasy conditions. Eton opened the scoring off a quick lineout move and neatly worked play down the blindside. However, Radley responded well with an instant score after kick-off with Muru scoring out wide on the right wing. Radley extended their lead shortly before half-time to make it 12-5 despite Jack Chapman being in the sin bin for a high tackle. Then came the unfortunate injury to Mosese which stopped play for a long time and resulted in the match being moved to another pitch. Whilst this overshadowed the rest of the afternoon, Radley physically dominated the second half on a small pitch adding two further scores from Will Brooks and Scott Wilson who scored off his own charge down to cap off a strong performance to end the half term. Some days are bigger than Rugby, hoping it’s good news for Mo as we sit on the bus back to Radley.
