After a three year hiatus, it was great to get the local derby back on the fixture card now both schools are part of the Central League. A competitive game played in the right spirit certainly played out throughout the afternoon. Radley deserved their 2-0 lead (goals by Lade and Seabrooke) but Abingdon clawed one back just at the right time in the second half to make the final 15 minutes a cagey affair. The Abingdon equaliser was a great finish and upon reflection a draw was fair result, given the number of chances missed by both sides. However, Radley will be the more disappointed having led for 75 minutes of the match.
