A great away win to end a terrific week for the 1st XI squad (2 wins GF: 9 GA: 1). Another five goals for the attack and an important clean sheet for the defence against a tenacious MCS side. Playing on a smaller pitch always poses a different challenge but the team played some attractive 1 touch football at times to create plenty of opportunities throughout and some terrific saves from Peers and last ditch tackles from Captain Burdett kept us in the game at times. Pick of the goals was from Man of the Match Freddie Seabrooke who linked up play extremely well and scored a great long range effort late on.
