An impressive first half saw the visitors put a few shots over the bar before Donald benefitted from a deflection to put Radley 0-1 up. A hand ball in the area a few minutes later saw Donald convert from the penalty spot: 0-2 by half time. Blue Coat started the second half strong and pulled it back to 1-2 via a penalty. Further chances for captain Goodwin and others also went over the bar, and Blue Coat struck the inside of the far post to nearly pull it level, but the visitors hung on for a 1-2 victory.
