Match Report
Radley College 1st XI vs  Harrow School Boys-U18B
On: Thursday, 25 Jan 2024
Venue: Away

Harrow away against a top footballing school is always going to be a stern midweek test and all spectators were treated to a hugely competitive game of football. Both sides had good opportunities early on but it was Radley who opened the scoring, Jiha Choi capitalising on a Harrow defensive mistake at the back as a result of a great high press by Freddie Seabrooke. The second goal was a great team effort down the left flank which resulted in a great cross by Choi to the far post which was headed in powerfully by Joe Ashford following in from the right wing. A deserved 2-0 lead at the break. In the second half, Will Linke continued to combine well with Choi down the left, who added a third wonderful individual goal after a long mazy solo run. Harrow scored a deserved goal of their own, following in well from a powerful shot outside the box. However, Radley scored a fourth goal late-on with a Sheldon shot bouncing down and out off the crossbar, only for George Reynolds to head home having been moved up top for the last few moments.

A very composed team performance to fill the side with confidence heading into our next important League game against MCS this Saturday.

Goals: Choi x2, Ashford, Reynolds

Motm: Choi (Linke not far behind!)
