Another solid effort from the 5th XV bolstered by some visitors from the 4th XV, who were not playing. All told, the match was a simple single narrative. Radley were incisive in the back line - effectively passing the ball through hands to the wing. Both Caspian and Mateo scored tries. Caspian always made hard yards (as did Hal and Wilf); Mateo danced around tacklers at will, and on a number of occasions was through to score but for a last-ditch tackle. Radley struggled to hold their own at the scrum, but were successful off with driving mauls, and Harkirat scored a try off the base of the scrum in this exact situation. Radley were also slow to the breakdown and were jackled a number of times. However, they tackled (some very big guys) hard and kept handling errors to a minimum. Honorable mention should also go to Conrad who scored a wonder try and Blake, whose kicking out of hand was reliable, and who was complimented by the opposition coach at the close on his game management.
