Match Report
Radley College 4th XI vs  Wellington College
On: Saturday, 18 Jan 2025
Venue: Away

The game started off pretty even...it was one of those games where the first goal might make all the difference to the moral of both teams and be the catalyst to further goals. Twenty-three minutes in Conrad was blatantly taken down in the box (even the most ardent Wellington supporter has to admit it was a clear foul). Conrad converted the penalty. He then dribbled through and added another six minutes later. 2-0 at half time was a fair score, although Wellington still showed that they had pockets of danger, and the game was by no means over.

Ten minutes into the second half Caspar added our third and ten minutes after that Conrad made a claim to take Wellington's ball home with him. Wellington were still pushing against us and did mess up our clean sheet hopes with a well-taken goal in the dying minutes of the game.

It was a great team performance. The squad rotated on and off the bench, and were also willing to play in a slightly non-favoured positions. There will undoubtedly be movements between the teams over the course of the term, but we do have the makings of a great squad and season ahead of us.
