A much-improved outing for Radley's Midgets 2. Hosted excellently by Rugby School, we bus-shared to a local College pitch to witness the end of the JC4 0-0, and determined that we wanted to see goals in our match. And so the team delivered: Ed M (newly-promoted from Midgets 3) started things off with an opportunistic finish. Radley were enjoying a good amount of possession and creating threatening chances. Ed M took another, and another in a first-half debut hat-trick for Midgets 2. The pick of the goals was a clean assist from Albie, swept into the goal on the first touch. Rugby came into the game a little more after the break and managed a goal of their own, but Radley continued to enjoy the best of the opportunities, taking a fourth when Albie used his great pace to break through and drilled the ball into the far corner. A good game all round.
