After disappointment against Rugby we had a terrific game against MCS. It was an end-to-end contest and closer than the final score suggested, with some outstanding stick skills for a 3rd team game evident, particularly from Ashwin S at centre-forward. Both sides scored freely and things were tense at 4-3 with 10 minutes to go, but we hit MCS with two wonderful late goals from open play, where a much improved passing game saw us look really impressive and get the ball in dangerous positions very quickly. Jack G kept us in the game earlier on with some key saves in goal. It finished 6-3 - a great afternoon's work.
