Despite the cold temperatures, the Radley boys managed to fire themselves up for this match. Knowing that Bedford had narrowly lost to Oakham a couple of weeks ago, it was clear that a good test was ahead of them.

Some excellent attacking play coupled with some tenacious defence gave Radley a 19-5 lead at half time. Knowing that Bedford wouldn't take this lying down, the team managed to dig deep and maintain their momentum. Beautiful connected passages of play, combined with some penetrating kicks over the Bedford defence saw the scoreboard continue to tick to the final score of 38-5.
